"Hello, I'm a retired nurse who is a disabled veteran. I have always had animals in my life. To me they are my saving grace. Having said that, I lost one of my furry best friends not long ago and decided that I wanted a forever sidekick that was small and furry. In my search for the perfect companion, I came across the Queens Beagle foundation. I we so impressed with the dogs along with the genetic engineering that has been put in place, that I contacted them. I became part of their program and have loved the dogs and having part of their dream. Being a veteran I really am excited about helping other vets and people in need through the Get a Wag program.
